Cannot even get to "command prompt admin. Get notice that the file does not have a program associated with it. The file that is trying to execute ends with "command prompt. Update: Was able to get into settings and reloaded previous build. Still do not know if it was a virus felt like one. I had tried the sfc scanner but not the other tips, unfortunately I had already resetted that day, my which fixed the problem. I added a new user on the pc and that user can access the task manager and settings programmes which seems strange.

Have the same problem as described by other users. TaskManager and Cortana do not open up. I have another profile which works. Current profile is still not working. I am not in the mood to throw my current profile out and start all over again.
Problems related to profiles have been around forever, so please suggest a profile recovery procedure that doesn't destroy days and weeks of work. I got the found "corrupt files but was unable to fix" response as in the screen shot above.
