Why does kerrigan look black

If art was Right Winged, Lefties would cry for non-political art. Literally all art is political. There is art I dislike because of its politics. Was the storyline for Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void bad? Yeah, I agree it was terrible. Kerrigan ascending into god was just awful writing. This had nothing to do with gender. You can have Raynor ascending to a god and the writing would still have been awful.

Awful writing is awful writing, no matter how you look at it. And it has nothing to do with woke, SJW or political correctness. It was just thrown in there without any real reason. It was not the reason that i called the recent expansions a bunch of woke and ideological-driven narrative. Can someone please explain Kerrigan lore and her redemption to me? General Discussion. That God-Kerrigan is aweful idea. At least they inadvertently made fun of India.

Yeah true… who comes up with these ideas… Instead of Starcraft 2 being about cool space politics between factions something like Mass Effect we got an extremely forgettable story about a couple trying to get reunited. I have found my people. In SC1, we were introduced to Sarah Kerrigan. The FMV cinematic in SC2 showed her looking like this, pre-infestation And then she gets infested and is the star of Brood War, which shows her looking like this.

I like this composite, because it really shows how the pre and post-infestation Kerrigans work out. Prior to being "saved" SC2 - WoL, she looks like this. There are already some facial shape changes. This one shows the contrast more closely. Then, Blizzard ruins the plot and de-infests Kerrigan. But now, she looks like this Dark skin, Zerglocks, different nasal bridge, different face shape altogether. It's more than just an evolution of character and technology. It's a totally different woman altogether.

I vote the image be changed. It's not necessarily indicative of Kerrigan regardless of it's spoiler status.

Indicative or not, it's still more accurate than any image for her infested or terran form and any other is a misrepresentation. The wiki banner clearly states that this wiki contains spoilers, not to mention that it's been a month since WoL was released. Kerrigan's deinfestation is hardly a secret. Now that the game has been out for more than a month, there's no point to avoiding spoilers.

Using her red-haired image would be like using an old picture of Michael Jackson or any star who has recently undergone plastic surgery ; it's only accurate "chronologically", but it's not what he last looked like.

Furthermore, her race is listed as terran rather than infested terran in the box. That info is "spoilered" right at the top of the page anyway. Can't someone make a square version of the Queen of Blades portrait? In the game files one can find the entire Infested kerrigan model used soly for the "talky" parts of the game. Just leaving it here if any one wants to see it.

Noticed an interesting new image with a caption suggesting her partial re-infestation. Anyone know if it's blizzard offficial or just fan art? Brainwasher5 , October 3, UTC. It's supposed to be official, but I have my doubts about it. It's from a page with lots of official art, but I'll count this as a challenge and hide it for now. I've seen a few links to the Taipei exhibit and I've seen the image crop up a few times.

Still, I've regulated it back to the notes section, as its implications contradict BC10 implications. And being just that, it's better suited for notes than an in-universe section. Still, the latter image may be a better one to use. And while on the talk page, I cut back on notes-I think that what was done for WoL could be repeated for the original games, having scripts for them. Kerrigan's quotes would fit in there.

Still, that's on the 'to do' list. May I ask why is her eye color labeled as "glowing amber"? And is that picture in the information table canon? Doesn't this contradict with the SC2 end cinematic?

Svetoslav , April 28, UTC. The last time we got a "fix" on the eye color, it was glowing yellow. And it's also glowing yellow in the current picture. I see someone changed the picture. That's supposedly from Heart of the Swarm , which will probably be displayed at BlizzCon I don't know Whatever her eye color on the site, it certainly isn't yellow in the same sense that it was in WoL for instance-it's just too dark a shade.

Any official statement as to her colors might overrule it, but amber seemed to be the color it best fit, situated between yellow and orange. And while the picture itself isn't perfect given the limits of extraction, it almost certainly has basis in that the images of Thrall and Diablo correspond to pre-existing ones.

I doubt the image is inaccurate or anything and as it's the first thing one sees upon reaching Blizzard's website, it's hardly a spoiler. This is something that's been bugging me for awhile now, but as per beta files, it's come to the forefront. Basically, it's the nature of Kerrigan's psionic powers in HotS. Not so much the powers themselves, but how they should be categorized on the psi powers template, and on the list.

Heck, you could even argue that they're xel'naga psionics if the artifact is the trigger. Creation of articles and categorization is something that should probably wait until final release, where we'll have more background info. But I'm open to ideas all the same, especially since it uncovers the psionic storm power categorization. Do we classify these abilities as terran ghost side , zerg per the psionic storm categorization or xel'naga if the artifact is the trigger? Or create an "other" line on the template?

Just food for thought. Why isn't Sarah Louise Kerrigan Redirected to this page anymore? Fix it so it is again. Vendanis talk , October 1, UTC. Probably shouldn't have Kerrigans Xel'Naga form as the first picture seen, as much as you shouldn't go to a wiki if you want to avoid spoilers it still feels like thats an easy trap for those who just wanted to check up on minor info. Actually disagree.

It's always been policy to use the most recent image rather than what is considered iconic. And on the subject, there's some stuff I want to address concerning the whole Kerrigan 'thing':. Some of these character articles are getting rediculously long. If possible, I think we should change the portrait of Kerrigan to that of the Queen of Blades version, simply to avoid spoilers for people who are mildly curious but does not want the spoilers.

We know how spoilers hurts the story. Korea is a country where StarCraft is popular. So StarCraft II's native language dubbing became a hot topic. StarCraft's Korean dubbing received many positive reviews from Koreans although South Korea is a country that has a strong dislike for recording foreign films in its own language. And the Korean voice actor also has a strong affinity for the character.

I think this is part of the official information. Therefore, i request to add information. I got it. Now I realize that StarCraft wiki has already discussed foreign voice acting before. I'm sorry about I couldn't check it. Of course I can provide more source. The " Players Cut " channel also shows many other things to South Korean Starcraft users Among that are information about the Korean voice actor. As a aside "Players Cut " also makes the voice actors record the script based on the StarCraft novel Flashpoint and then had made a radio drama.

Wasn't there a contrast between her having 2 wings or 4 wings? Also she can't even fly so why don't we call them something else? They're more like Andariel's pincers. Tycio talk , 2 January UTC. Was that mostly during the Brood War expansion for the 1st game? I'm wondering in terms of death count how that breaks down into different battles and timelines because I can't remember them mentioning numbers like this before.

Tycio talk , 23 May UTC. I notice in a cinematic early in Heart of the Swarm she comments to Raynor "I slaughtered millions as the Queen of Blades" so there seems like a bit of a discrepency She says she doesn't remember what she did while QOB so maybe they lied to her and said something like "you killed three million" because "eight billion" might be potentially too overwhelming a revelation?
