After defeating the boss, Thrall was free, and the three guards were all alive but with very low health, and they were all incapacitated under what looked like some thunder spell that I guess thematically was meant to have been cast by Thrall, as he's a shaman.

I didn't need to attack or defeat any of the guards; instead Thrall said something like "let's get out of here," so we left the instance. I then ported to Oribos and was able to hand the quest in normally. I read on here that some people needed to defeat the three guards but I didn't have this experience. Comment by Nekrotik TLDR version: If you don't use the shard before entering, you won't be able to do the quest no matter what your quest log says. Back story: I planned to do the quest run after a normal run, so I didn't use the shard.

As soon as I zoned in, my quest log checked off the shard step as complete anyway. Ok whatever, I went on my merry way, ran the floors, killed the final boss Goxul. The quest boss Arch-Tyrant Zerios wasn't there. The three suppressors were there and I could attack them, but with no effect due to the reduced damage debuff. They ignored me and I couldn't rescue Thrall. Comment by dmtwizard this quest didnt pop up for me after i turned in the previous one.

Comment by Llyrellenya I am extremely frustrated by how Blizzard has chosen to timegate this questline for no reason. Not that we're only getting one part per week, but that if you missed doing a part one week, you can't catch up the next week. There is absolutely no reason for this. I have been able to do each part each week, but my wife wasn't able to get to Torghast last week, so now we are permanently separated on our questline progress unless I let myself get behind to match with her.

There has been NO indication that this would be the case or that we'd have to keep up, as everything else except the specific weekly renown quests has been able to be caught up on, including the covenant campaigns! Is this a bug? About 16 hours later before daily reset , I got this quest.

After completing this quest, I got the next followup. So I think: 1 They implemented some sort of catchup mechanic, finally. I was a week behind before this week. Comment by Malachi68 The weirdest thing happens when I click on the Wayfinder and enter the scenario I tested it twice. I see the black orb and choose the benefit. Then after about 10 seconds or so I get kicked out of the scenario. No warning, I just wind up back at the Wayfinder. Edit: On a different character, I just got kicked out of a Horrific Vision after about 15 seconds so clearly there is something wrong with the realm Chamber of Aspects Comment by alpanhell This is the same floorplan every time.

It's a very simple floor plan, with very simple mobs so it's a pretty fast run. You won't get as many buffs as usual but don't worry about it, even the end boss is pretty easy.

I'm guessing Blizz made it super easy because they knew the next quest will suck. He's super huge and Sylvanas doesn't make it up to his knee, it's hard to imagine two beings like that working together.

This story really doesn't add up much, hopefully it will at the end. Comment by NemesisX94 For anyone struggling to pickup this quest, or one of the quests in this line: I had done the quests in this line up to this one on my Paladin, then starting working through it on my Druid. Upon doing the quest before this one Lest the Trail Go Cold I couldn't grab this so I switched back to my Paladin and turns out I already had picked it up on there.

Comment by Vynathlon I'm having trouble with this. On some floors, I spawn in and there's nothing but complete blackness. I reload the game but the blackness is still there. It seems like the only way to fix the black is by dying. I'm frustrated because I keep losing my lives on fixing a black screen and I'm running out of them.
